Durdle Door Dorset

Emma of Lulworth Cove has entered pre-production with Newcomen Productions Limited.

We are presently casting and hiring crew.

The movie will be shot on location in Dorset.

Emma of Lulworth Cove is an ideal novel for the screen. The story has love, romance, and intrigue set in the super- natural.

Dorset is a superbly beautiful county arguably the prettiest county in the United Kingdom. The story of Emma of Lulworth Cove makes the very best of the natural beauty of the area.

West Lulworth is a pretty little village lined with thatched cottages and a small well-defined cove which provided adequate shelter for small sailing craft.

Corfe, depicted in the novel is another small village with the ruins of Corfe Castle standing on a steep hill high over village. Corfe villageis quite unique and is a stunningly beauty place to visit.

Abbotbury is a small village beyond Weymouth and lies at the end of 'Chesil Beach,' a natural bank of shingle 14 miles long. High up on the hill over looking Abbotsbury lies St Catherine's Chapel, an ancient church which dominates the local landscape. The views from the church are breath- taking.

Weymouth is a medium seaside result and fishing town. It boasts a small but beautiful sandy beach and a bustling harbour and quay.

I had the cooperation of Lulworth Estates for the filming of Emma. Lulworth Village is an ideal filming location as it is possible to close the cove end of the village from vehicular traffic. There is also ample parking and security for film crew vehicles.

Emma could be made into a stunning pictorial motion picture with a strong and compelling script.
